Mario Medina - CEO & Founder
Mario Medina is the Founder and Principal Consultant of MedConsulting LLC, with more than 15 years of healthcare experience specializing in payer contracting, provider network development, reimbursement strategy, and credentialing.
Having worked on both the health plan and provider sides of healthcare, Mario brings a unique understanding of how payer networks operate, how contracting decisions are made, and what providers need to successfully navigate payer relationships and reimbursement.
His experience spans health plans, provider networks, hospitals, physician groups, behavioral health organizations, ancillary providers, and specialty healthcare services.
Outside of work, Mario enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and being outdoors.
Mario Medina JR. - Administrative & Operations Assistant
Mario Jr. serves as MedConsulting LLC’s Administrative & Operations Assistant, supporting day-to-day organization, project tracking, reporting, and administrative operations.
After graduating from high school at the age of 16, Mario continued on to university while gaining hands-on experience in healthcare consulting and business operations. Through his role, he is learning the business alongside his father while supporting the continued growth of MedConsulting.
Outside of work and school, Mario enjoys brewing coffee, traveling, and keeping up with car racing.
Sayetzy Naomi Figueroa - Contract Specialist
Sayetzy serves as MedConsulting LLC’s Contract Specialist, supporting payer contracting, agreement review, contract tracking, and provider network initiatives.
She began her healthcare career in credentialing, building a strong foundation in provider documentation, payer requirements, and network participation. She is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration while continuing to expand her experience in healthcare contracting and operations.
Outside of work and school, she enjoys hiking, baking, and getting lost in a good book.
